Who's to say that Wade would of worked in Detroit, or Melo or Bosh for that fact. Talent was never Darko's problem it was development and court time.

Try busting a rotation of Big Ben, Sheed, Dice, Davis and then getting some decent court time.

Sixers33, what do you call the current Pistons?? Only word I would use is 'awesome'.

THis has nothing to do with bball but the all time stuff ups would have to be freo and adelaide crows
First Adelaide got andrew mcleod for chris groom then adelaide paid them back many years later by taking ken mcgregor instead of pavlich. There are no worse picks than those in any sports.

I think taking a guy No. 3 in the NBA draft and the kid going and dying of a Drug overdose the next day could be classed as a far worse pick than any of those AFL draft choices.

The two teams that opted not to take Michale Jordan in the 84 draft are in my opinion the greatest stuff ups in draft pics. Although, Hakeem wasnt too bad was he.

Hakeem was a legend who brought the Rockets 2 titles and lost to the Celtics in 86. Sure Jordan was better but that wasn't a total "stuff up".

The Trailblazers case with Sam Bowie however was a stuff up!

Hakeem never was surrounded by stars like Jordan was either

Pattie Ewing was meant to enter that year in the draft, but he promised his mum (I believe) that he'd finish college... could of been a completely different story for Portland if they picked up Ewing/Olajuwan!

In hindsight it looks like Portland messed up, but at the time, they had Clyde Drexler and needed a big man, hence if Akeem (as he was known when he was drafted before adding the 'H' later) wasn't available, they'd take Bowie.

But in hindsight, pretty bad call.

This one is simple. Sacramento used to their #1 draft pick to get....drum roll please...Never Nervous Pervis Ellison. Far and away the worst #1 Pick in the history of the lottery. Go ahead, top that!
