Newley's stocks rise ... again.

So New-Money is now being compared to Manu ! Not a bad comparison to have made. At this rate he'll cement a spot in the first round ...

He's been getting Manu comparisons for some time (well, maybe not from those who count, but still). Not too many guys go to the rack like Brad, even in the NBA. Only Manu and DWade have the same kind of fearlessness (admittedly, facing much larger opponents and with greater natural ability). But he'll find a niche.

Worked out with 3 NBA teams so far, recently with the Jazz with the likes of JJ Redick and Randy Foye who are widely regarded as first round picks. If he's working out with such highly regarded players this suggests he has a good chance of being drafted.

if anyone read the whole chad ford article, he made comparisons about Euro players... Funny, i must've missed the memo saying Australia AND Argentina was part of Europe..

dont see why he wont be drafted first round, even early to mid first round aswell. hes had international experience, his offence is similar to euro players and nba players, and is able to fit in to any situation hes put in pretty much. physically hes what most teams would want in a SG. and hes young aswell. not to mention personality wise hes great. Hell, ill go as far to say he might just be australias answer to the likes of kobe, tmac, etc (not saying hes at their level, but i think you get the idea)
