I played with a guy by the name of Calvin 'Doc' Earl over in WA last year, he is from Oakland and he knows Hook from back in the day. He reckons he was one crazy MoFo.

Looks interesting. One of my all time favourite films is Hoop Dreams, there's something about documentaries that makes them have so much more impact than a regular film, this one looks to be no exception.
