Australians in Europe and US Colleges

Courtesy of the HSE Basketball Newsletter forwarded to me by Martin Byrne, is the following list of Australians playing in Europe:

Matt Neilsen - PAOK (Greece)
Chris Anstey - Unics Kazan (Russia)
David Anderson - CSKA (Russia)
Frank Drmic - Oldenburg (Germany)
Martin Cattalini - Joventud (Spain)
Paul Rogers - Girona (Spain)
Michael Kingma - Vilvoorde (Belgium)
Justin Brown - ALBA Berlin (Germany)

Also, the newsletter mentioned this:

"Montana State Billings Mens basketball coach has continued the Australian connection from the past by signing 6-1 guard Carlin Hughes and 6-8 forward Lucas Walker. MSU-Billings has had success with Australian players in the past few years, including all-PacWest selections Dan Thompson and Danny Phillips."

"Meanwhile, 7-3 centre Sam Harris has signed with Old Dominion University. The college season commences early in November with a couple of exhibition games before the regular season commences."

(If you'd like to subscribe to the newsletter, send an email to chrism AT horizons-sport.com.au and your details will be added to the list. It's a free newsletter service to basketball players, coaches and fans.)
