Channel 10 Sport News...

Brett Wheeler has broken down in a fitness test at Wayville Today!

Smyth to go to USA to look for possible import prospects. His 4 possiblities must not have worked out.

Also BASA are in final talks with the bids. 3 current bidders i think.

Interesting news regarding Smyth going to the US - I hear there is a priority offer and a backup offer in front of players (imports) as we speak.

Smyth is waiting for the trip to the US to be approved. He's still in touch with those four imports but it would be better to negotiate with them face to face. If that falls thru the NBA summer camps have proven a great place to find new plyers.

In football they refer to calf injuries as "an old man's injury". That can't be the case here!

Of course it's not an old man's injury, I had one myself this season!!!

It wasn't a calf injury, it was a slight hamstring strain. Cold stadium, early sprints. He's been playing all the off season, so it's just one of those things that can happen to anyone who gives 100%
