Copes said Mark Price is very well respected in the US, and that what Heal did is very bad for the standing of Aus Basketball in the US and that Heal has bitten off more than he can chew.

Not mentioned on the TV last night, but equally interesting, a rumour that a few years ago, there was a directive by senior NBA management to NBA teams to look at hiring international players to increase global interest and exposure of the NBA. As someone who just sat on the end of an NBA bench for 3 years, Heal would fit the profile of such a player. As a former 'real' NBA player, Copes of course would have too much class to remind him of that. Especially during a game.. Anyways rumours are just rumours.
