The teams for the All-Star game have been announced here
Good too see some South Aussies in there with Newley and Ingles selected. I think Worthington is an interesting pick considering he is injured and has missed a few games.
For the Imports, I was surprised to see Powell as a reserve. He is an excitement machine and would have pulled a few extra people into the crowd IMO.

I actually think Ballinger is the most stiff to miss out for the world side. Powell may be Mr. Entertainment, but Ballinger has been one of the best players of the season so far (his game vs Adelaide notwithstanding).
IMO - take out Owens & Dave Thomas, put in Ballinger & Powell and they've got it just about right.

Worthington's inclusion is undoubtedly designed to pre-empt the Sydney fans complaining that none of their players made the All-Star teams. They can say 'Worthington would have been in there but is unfortunately injured'.
Agree that Ballinger is very stiff, and Powell would have been a good inclusion. The Aussie team looks about right.

ballinger and carlos shouldve been obvious (take out DT and owens)... just looking at those lineups the world all-stars look a damn lot stronger but Aus will probably finda way to win as always.
I will probably even be cheering on the world all-stars with monsta and willie, whos everyone else gonna support?

What would happen if Darnell Mee was selected to take part? He will be naturalised by the all star game I think. But started the season as an import.
