crowd ejection

good to see that one of our major sponsors has people ejected from the stadium.we all know the refs were crap,but to chase the ref along the side line like the guy did and then have another go when they were in front of him is crap.thank goodness this wasnt a fox game as we would look like absolute idiots.one fan reacting like that could have a snowball effect,certainly wasnt smart.not the first time that box has been trouble,last year they threw a bottle at the opposition.its great to be passionate but use your brain as weel

There was an empty cup thrown during tonights game as well. The security spoke to the man in question and i beleive they warned him.

Throughout the last quarter i saw at least 4 people being escorted from the building by security....

It was an intense game which got the crowd and players fired up, but to see this happen within the crowd is ridiculous....

A) not a bottle...and
B) did not come from the corporate section.

it wasnt actually a sponsor, it was someone who was sitting in spare seats - just to clear that up

did u see everyone giving them a hard time as they were being escorted out

me: there was definetely a bottle throwing incident last year, cant remember which game it was but there was definetely a bottle last year

the red shirt guy evicted last night was in a corporate seat,was meant to be in that seat and was seen after the game talking to management about wheteher he would be banned or not.also me there was a bottle thrown last season which in fact nearly struck one of ushers as they went to escort the refs from court.it also came from that same section of seats!!! the cup thrown was from the west stand last night but the warning was only given as the group it came from was known but which one was the actual offender.

i wasn't at the game, but speaking to someone who was, they thought Eddy Groves was ejected.

Can anyone (who actually knows, not just thinkgs they do) confirm or deny?

If the refs weren't so crap, we wouldn't be having this discussion. They have to be cheats, there is no way a ref could be so incompetent without meaning to call crap. I hope they donated their match payment to charity, because there is no way they deserve it.

Love the game, love having a go at the refs & the opposition team, love it to death; but to those idiots who feel the need to throw stuff onto the court, get a life.

We are on a good thing at the dome with taking our beers to our seats. I would hate to see that stopped because of some johnny come lately who thinks he is watching A leauge soccer from 5 years ago (yeah I used to go), ruin it for everyone.

Grow up, if you feel the need to throw somthing, go in the loo and throw your guts up.

IMO the 3 guys sitting together that the cup came from should have all been thrown out of the stadium.

I would hate to see the same rubish go on at the dome as happens at the MCG every summer with junk being thrown on the field by a bunch of morons....eh Victorian (#105736)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

spot on magpie,incidents like that will bring an end to alcohol being taken to the seats,dont forget you idiots who did this we have new stadium owners who can change things tomorrow if they like.stupid acts like friday night put an unnecessary focus on the negatives when overall apart from our win/lose record we have had only positives about us.Everyone around the league says we have the most passionate and knowledgable fans lets not add the most idiotic to that!
