Holmes from the arc in 2006/07

He always copped a bit for his shooting percentages, shot selection and flat shot, but I hope people are noticing Jacob Holmes' numbers this year - third in the league with 49.1% from outside. Started a bit averagely, but has begun to nail them recently.

Other interesting stats - three players in the league are averaging 25+ PPG, Brett Maher has only missed two free throws all season and Stephen Hoare is a runaway first for threes with 58.3%.

His percentages are even better when you consider he started 4-28!

yes remarkable considering his poor start...i havent seen enough Dragon games to observe if he has modified his shot or merely his shot selection??? whatever it seems to be working.

What does that make his stats since his 4-28 start?

Seems Stephen Hoare had a bad shooting week - went from #1 in 3 point% to out of the top ten. Check out who's on top

3Pt %

Sam Mackinnon Bullets 50.8 17 31/61
Jacob Holmes Dragons 49.1 14 28/57
Darren Brooks Wildcats 49.1 15 26/53
Adam Ballinger Hawks 48.7 13 19/39
Liam Rush Razorbacks 48.5 12 16/33
Cameron Rigby Razorbacks 48.3 13 14/29
David Barlow Kings 47.5 14 29/61
Brad Williamson Bullets 46.4 17 13/28
Oscar Forman Breakers 46.3 12 31/67
Matthew Shanahan Dragons 45.7 13 21/46

SLAMMIN SAMMY! Mr "No jump shot" himself. I bet he's thinking I wish I'd found this in 1998. He would have been in the NBA for sure. Anybody think he is still a chance? He would qualify as a veteran I think. Along with the Cat and Powell he is favourite for MVP IMO.
