Cairns vs Adelaide, tonight

The 36ers are up against the Taipans tonight.

Centrebet have the Taipans as obvious favourites paying $1.23, or $1.90 for a win by nine or more.

Other interesting odds for the gamblers out there - Farley is paying $2.40 for 24 or more points.

Of the Party of Five, Martin is at $3.40 to outscore the pack, Coops is $4, Majstro $4.55, Wheels $4.80 and Rose $5.35. Don't know if I like any of that batch to outscore each other!

Cattalini is paying $2.25 to hit more threes than Farley, $4.55 for a draw and Willie is at $2.30 in that one.

The game total mark is 198.5 - $1.90 for 199 or more, $1.90 for 198 or less. I reckon it will be under unless the Taipans blow us out.

If you're really feeling the 36ers love, they're $14.50 for a win by 11 or more, or $5.40 to win at all.

Any takers on those?

Probably the one that I thought could be a goer was $1.90 for the 36ers to either win, or lose by less than 9.

Im gonna sling a redback on for a Sixers win and a fiver for 11+

If that was 'Martin' Cattalini as opposed to Luke 'Martin' I'd have $100 on that straight away.

I think farley is good for 24+ but $25 is my limit.

Cairns-Sixers all tied up at 25 at quarter time. Sixers leading for most of the game. Horvath 8, Grabau 8.

Grabau killing Sixerswith 4 offensive rebounds and an assist.

Sutton hit a three late beforea Rose buzzer beater drew it all up!

How embarrassing! Our two leading rebounders are our two smallest players - Farley 10, Maher 4. Owens (15) is all over our big guys (10 between Horvath, Wheeler and Cooper). No wonder we're in trouble

It's nice that we've been able to play Boodnikoff into some form though!

Copeland must be hurt. He hasn't played since the first quarter.

They are clearing their bench with 3 minutes to go. What do you think the chances of Smyth putting Burdon in are?

Strangely not! But there is always tomorrow night - and an even bigger loss!
And when is Mastrovich going to play a game somewhere near even ordinary. Get out fella, you are yet another liability. Join the list that Nash heads!

I think Mastro, like Squid's spelling, is missing a "j"!

No one on either team had more than 3 assists?! Surely that's unusual - neither team shot at a particularly bad clip.

If Copeland is injured and/or out long-term, they'll be in a bit of trouble.

Good to note Maher shot well though.

Looks like I was too optimistic (generally feel that I should be to keep morale up)...

I'm not worried that if Copeland is injured.. despite some good games this year, I still rather see the younger guys get court time over Copeland!

Ng is back soon so he can have Copeland's minutes

Its difficult to get a win when only 3 players show up to play. Unless more of the team put in a much greater effort, this is the way the rest of the season will continue.

"I hate the thought of life after Brett Maher"

This is my worst nightmare...

Too scary to think about it.

I was the same. After last night, and the Sixers down to Crocs by 13 now, i am looking to 2007/08.
