What a night for SA Basketball

36s beat Sydney 99 to 97 and Lighting jumped to the top of the table beating the AIS 72 to 47.

Sam Woosnam scored 7 points to pass the 1000 mark.Coach Lucas gave all players minutes and it was so good to see Kate Jenner get his first WNBL points..

Well done to both teams!!

Nash was huge with a couple of threes and his rebounding was awesome, Farley got the match winner and the Sixers won in Sydney against the Kings which they haven't done for 7 years. The Sixers also are the first team to beat the Kings in Sydney this season!

Both players would be very happy!

All the 36ers fans would be very happy. It was a special win that hopefully will be the turning point for the rest of the season. Very optimistic I know but still a good chance to make top 8 and still a rare chance to go all the way from there. Where there's life, there's hope.

Sorry Kate

Should have also mentioned Narelle,Leah,Brigid Rebecca,Dee,Lauren etc

A very impressive performance given that all the bench got plenty of court time.

Great women's game last night.
I reckon those young AIS girls are gonna be right up there in a couple of years too. Good to see some tall youngsters in there.
