thats a squad and a half right there a full team of Offencive and Defencive juggernauts lead by veteran Point Gaurd Rory Craddock the team would be even better if it had a tank three point shooter with massive side burns

american highschool basketball players arent all they are cracked up to be. onyl a few great players and teams. all you really need to do to beat them is be able to shoot the ball.

Whoa,

Playing road games against high school teams is not as easy as it sounds.
And how many Yank high school teams have you played against, or even seen play?
Not that they even play high school teams, guys now play JC's and the girls have for as long as I can remember.

I'm sure the guys who toured back when they did play against high schools didn't find the competition lacking.

Ask someone who went on the 92 or 93 tour if they remember Oak Hill having any talent.
Couple of those high school players went on to major colleges the next year. If I remember correctly one of them went by the name of Jerry Stackhouse!

If I can find the odd internet cafe, I will report back on our progress. At this stage we play 5-6 games against Junior Colleges in the US and then go on to Spain to play some games in Madrid and end up in a big tournament on the south coast against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and another tough team. Hopefully we can emulate the 1999 group who beat these teams and won the tournament in Menorca.

Ahhh yes, the SASI tour...
Oh thats right, some local games have been "postponed" due to said tour...
Thats poor. 3 games have been postponed, by north and west I believe (apologies if I'm wrong on that).
Cudos to southern, who are battling on.

to whoa - the boys were playing against colleges ranked in the top 20, and in spain colleges ranked in the top 10 i believe...

sir spark, 4 games were postponed by both west and north (both teams had 3 players missing) i guess these games will have to be made up during the christmas break - which could also be a problem as no doubt these same boys will be going out to the under 20 state trials.... the boys will be home on sunday, so i guess we will soon find out when the make up games will be.
