Who will win POTW?

The round is yet to finish but there are some standouts already.

Maher:
23 points, 8 rebounds, 15 assists
25 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists

Powell (with one game to go):
43 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists
34 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists

Newley:
46 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists

I think Maher should win it considering he went both games (and would average) close to a triple double over the weekend. Sixers winning both games also.

Powell has one game to go. He may win it with another standout performance. The Breakers losing both games may count against it.

Newley scored well and the Crocs won but with only one game, it may also count against him.

Anstey might be a chance with a big game against the Breakers and if the Tigers win.

So far, Maher - averaging 12 APG over a couple of games is brilliant.

Powell is scoring this round, but the Breakers are dropping the games and it will count against his chances.

Maher is a class act that is hard to beat. A score of 40 plus is great for that particular game but many have achieved this and will continue to achieve this. When Maher is fit and healthy, he sets new standards in great all round games. Its not just his stat line that is brilliant, its the leadership he provides to the rest of the team. POTW for Maher for sure.

Powell has 31 points, 7 boards and 5 dimes with still 4 minutes left in the 3rd.
Yet, the breakers are getting pumped.
Think it is gonna be a very tough call for the judges this week.

Newley with 1 fantastic performance and a win.
Maher with 2 great all round performances and both wins
or
Powell with 3 Standout performances in 3 losing games.

Very Tough Call.

can they give it to two people and call it a tie? Maher and Powell both deserve it, any other week they would get it for their performances respectively

May need to correct myself about the Breakers getting pumped. The margin is now 3 points with 10 minutes to play. Powell now 42, 9 & 6

Powell hits the bench. Tigers move to a nine point lead. Crap!

Breakers running twin towers now, and Vukona still on. Need to get Wethers back involved.

Damn, Breakers go down. Powell 50 points, nine rebounds, eight assists. Oscar gets up to 19 points thanks to a decent second half. Anstey 22 and nine for the Tigers. DT and DMac 21 each.

Surely three massive games despite losses on the road has to be the one this week.

Would've been a while since anyone averaged 42+ PPG over three games in the NBL?!

Averages for the round:

Maher (2 wins)
24 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists

Powell (3 losses)
42 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists

Newley (1 win)
46 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists

Tough call.. either Maher or Powell (Newley shouldn't get it for the 1 game)
