Sort of. Mills can go with Holden, but we have no big with the size and athleticism combined to go with AK.
Russia can shoot the lights out just like every other European team do we have the perimeter D to stop them?

Nah we are stuffed. Lithuania will pound us and we will struggle with the ruskis. Going to need some luck and big games from certain individuals to have any chance. They'll need that fighting Aussie spirit to kick in big time.

TR harsh. we have a real big chance to knock of russia. litho i would say are just out our reach. Beat russia and we advance, quite simple.

With AK47 wat about a combination of defenders?
e.g. Anderson or Neilson can gaurd him on the block an put Barlow on him on the wing?
mix it up and let Joe Ingles guard him - both inside and out. He's as gangley as AK so could maybe make it a little tougher to shoot or pass the ball compared to how easy it's been for him so far.. Does anyone agree that Patty Mills should get a chance to start too as his intensity surely wont hurt from the start of the game compared to 4 or 5mins into the game. Might give CJ a kick up the ass to come out and perform too!

They can do it against russia imo. Mills can make it very difficult to holden so that just leaves a big assignment of containing AK47. Lithuania are too team oriented and will destroy the boomers.

put barlow on jr holden, CJ aint gonna stop him defensively, neither will mills. AK aint a real offensive threat in terms of putting the ball on the floor, hes a good finisher and can hit the open shot, thats about it, he also scores off offensive rebounds a fair bit in the nba. It will be interesting to see who he plays D on, maybe Newley, but more than likely Nielsen.
