First Import to get sacked this season?

Who do you guys reckon will be the first Import to get the chop this season?

I'm placing my bet on the Sydney Import from the SEABL

BTW, who is NZB second import? I know Rickert is but who is the other?

Nah don't think sydney will sack that gruber guy. should be a solid player and even if he's not its not like that can afford someone better. i think victor from perth will probably be sacked. they have ben knight so don't need a big man as much so he better perform top notch or he's out of there in exchange for a gun import guard.

CJ is effectively NZ's second as they dont have the point space to sign any one after him

Even though he's naturalised now....I'd still have to say Nick Horvath.

"CJ is effectively NZ's second as they dont have the point space to sign any one after him" - Nothing Seamus couldn't fix if it was his club.

I think Trammel Darden from the Dragons will be the 1st to go!

Have to agree SKUX101, Darden or Groves I think.

BUT I think Victor in the west maybe in trouble too.

I reckon Derrick Low from Sydney will get the axe first - bad decision to hire him I reckon.

I reckon Derrick Low will get the arse as well.
He is likely to be a solid player if though he had a stinker today, but Sydney needs an exciting athlete as an import as they struggle to get a crowd at the moment. They need someone other than a white stiff.
I think that Groves may aso not last the season either. He just doesn't like playing D and Goorj will hate that.

Victor(bad choice in the first place) then Low (DeVries was better)

Gruber is up there too, don't see how he fits in with Rush/Knight/Khazzouh. Theyd be better off with an import PG. Did he start today?

In my order

Gruber
Victor
Low
Groves

All other imports are solid.

Tyndale will be first to go.

I agree Bron. The 6ers have a poor history of imports. Tyndale will be #1.

Great point there Sam.

Al Green had no game
Mark Davis was a bum
Brunson never went on to achieved anything
Robert Rose couldn't play
Darnell Mee was poo
as was Kevin Brooks
Farley didn't excite
Rychart didn't contribute
and Ballinger has been ordinary.

Yeah, great point Sam...

What about Hodge!!! he wasn't any good either!

Sam don't generalise because of one player (Chappell) last year.

Sam and bron, I don't know how well you know Tyndale but I have not seen enough of him to come to that conclusion yet. In fact its a stupid thread because its far too early in the season and most teams have not even played their first game yet. All the new imports are new and haven't proven themselves yet and all the ones that have played in previous years would not have been re signed if they weren't any good.

Here we go...both the Razorback players (I refuse to call them 'Spirit') are in the firing line:

FoxSports article: http://linky.com.au/qe2wq

It makes it worse for them that they hired probably the worst two imports in the league.

IMO Low will be the first to go as I have
posted previously.
