FIBA article on the NBL 2008/09 season

Nice to see some coverage of the NBL from FIBA, but you'd think they could polish it up a little. It's as though they've accidentally published a draft?

FIBA: AUS - NBL week 1 & 2 wrap

They set the stage with some early quality:

Shane Heal: The four-time Olympian may be approacjhing 39##, but he feels he still has a point to prove after a very diaappointing stinit as player coach of the Souht DFragons. With no legitimate back up point guard, Heal's remaining talents, and aging legs will certainly be trested this season.
And so it goes for the duration of the piece... (It's like reading a post from Southern Joe - any OzHo readers will sympathise.)

I was reading this and though someone at FIBA had posted it as a bit of a joke and a poke at the NBL.

"no legitimate back up point guard"

They got that bit right at least.

No problem with the grammar as they were talking about Shayne Hill.
