The girls got potential... why would you come back after just one season? She could be awesome if she wanted to be. If she cant handle the bench for at least one year says alot about her game.

GIVE IT A REST. she's a young girl!!! whats wrong with going over to college to experience it? so what if she didnt like it and wants to come. at least she will have no regrets about the college life.

she might have just felt the college life wasn't for her. or misses her family so many different reasons could have played a part. and shame on those who are judging her.

I'm from Washington, USA and I want to tell you all down under that we will miss her up over here. She held her head up and played hard when she got the chance. She has nothing to be ashamed of and I wouldn't be surprised to see her on the A. Nat. Team someday.

Don't put this on Nicole. She was sold a package that wasn't what it appeared. In other words....her getting out of UW is probably the best thing.

Those of us here in the states have watched in disgust as this program has gone down, down. No fault of Romeo. She contributed when she got play time, but it was rare. I think with more play time she could have helped this last place in the league team.

Sad situation with current coach.

Good luck Nicole!

So did she choose to come home or was she cut?

So are you saying her 20% from the field of 14% from the 3 point line helped?

Going to a Pac 10 school, with a new head coach, 8 freshman and not being considered a defensive specialist. What could she be offered as a package?

She was a required player, no doubt about that. All officials were surprised by her own decision to return to Australia.

As others have said, the program isnt working and player retention will be an issue.

Best of luck Nicole! You did a great job.

Nicole doesn't owe anyone an explanation. Only she and the people closest to her know the real reason(s) why she left. Anything said by anyone else is pure speculation.

I enjoyed watching her play in the short time she was here at UW. I was able to talk to her a few times, and with her mother when she visited. Nicole's a great kid and I wish her well in her future endeavors.

You have got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them.

Life is all about weighing the pros and cons and taking a decision.

One door closes and another opens.

Look at the conduct of the Program and that will tell you that the folding option was a good decision.

If you like the lady its a great decision if you don't, she's a quitter. Had the soft options right thru juniors with state coaches and abl coaches in her corner and club so she would not be used to having to show she could do the business.

She didn't want to sit on the bench, i know lots of players like that. Some can cope with it, others cant and just want to play non stop.

Leave her alone
