Ablett surely should take it in a cake-walk. but hey it's the brownlow, so who the hell knows.

i would like to see Scott Thompson or Bernie Vince get up but Ablett has missed out 2 years in a row (being Favorite) i think, so he has to win it eventually!

I'd love Simon Black to win it. He polls well and pulls up in the top 4.

re: 2009 Brownlow Medal

I'm on:

Swan to win @ $5
Swan to poll in most games @ $6
Vince to poll best for Adelaide @ $6
McIntosh for North @ $9
D.Jackson for Richmond @ $9

Really happy to get Swan at 5, he should be favourite IMO. Let's hope the umps have stopped trying to get in the pants of Goodes and Black and we get a deserved winner.

poor tipping there Xztaik - missed on all except Vince! Unless you got on him mid (pre?) season, you wouldn't have got $6-1 etiher. unlucky!

re: 2009 Brownlow Medal

Yeah I got Vince around the split round at $6 so I won my money back but not much else. It's just imppossible to know what goes through these umpires' heads!

Was close with Danny Jackson (1 less than Richo), and I thought they'd notice H-Mac and also Mitch Clark a bit more than they did. Apparently they actually watch where Swan's kicks go now. Unlucky!

Oh yeah and that guy who won it. Gary something, thoroughly deserved, well done Gaz.

Fevola is more than just a tool...I felt sorry for Judd and Twigley having to sit anywhere near him.

Ablett thoroughly deserved the award and the accolades that go with it.

Fev is a major tool.
I cannot believe he had that dildo on his head for the entire night, even when the cameras were on him....

I got ablett to win at $2.15.
Then picked Ablett (1.16), Judd (2.15), and Goodes (4 something)to be top 5.

re: 2009 Brownlow Medal

Yeah I was complaining about forwards not getting votes until Jonno Brown made his charge.

I love Fev, we need more characters like him. Coon's kiss on Ablett's head and Goodes chillin with Simon Black also funny.

re: 2009 Brownlow Medal

You would think the full forward or CHF who kicks 6+ goals would collect 3-points for the day.

Or.

If a defender shuts down a foward such as Brown, Fev, Bradshaw etc that it would warrant 1 or 2 votes.

It's far too heavily towards the midfield these days.
