The Southern Tigers Basketball Association is a domestic club based in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide with 40 teams playing in the Basketball SA District Competition from Under 10 to Under 20 Age Groups.
To enhance our focus on coach development we are looking to employ a Director of Coaching to oversee our volunteer coaching panel for our Under 10, 12 & 14 Boys and Girls Junior Program as our coaching panel is made up of volunteers who are mainly adults with varying degrees of experience.
Whilst the development of players is important for the Club, the focus of this role is on the coaches in these Age Groups to ensure that they have the appropriate tools to develop our players accordingly.
The Club will be introducing a standard "Basketball Program" to these age groups and this role will be responsible for working with each Coach and having the program implemented and followed.
