I don't think it will be an import as Marty pointed out in his press conference (when he was announced coach) that he would sign the Australian contingent and then look for imports to fill the voids

SRT, same. Hasn't let up in HSH either. Really applies himself at all times.

I have heard rumours, i think primarily on here, that lisch has been approached by sixers but whether this is true or not i dont know. hard to tell the truth behind it all when people say "i heard" which sometimes translates to "i had a dream last night that lisch was a sixer" which obviously has no relation to the real world. but lets wait and see what happens.

P.S. my season ticket will be renewed regardless. im keen to see what marty can bring to the current players signed.

I'll be renewing my season tickets also no matter what. I'm also curious to see what Marty can bring to our team and what roster we have.

It's also a great night out for me and gives me something to be excited about outside of the footy season and when boxing bouts aren't scheduled.

I have no idea why we would even consider Lisch. His stats are similar to Groves

Groves 10ppg, 3Apg, 3Rpg
Lisch 11ppg, 2Apg, 2Rpg

Lisch's only advantage is he shot the 3 well at 42% and foul shots at about 80%. but We already have Ng and Herbert that can hit the 3. So why would we want a 6"2 Shooting guard? Furthermore, he was in a stacked Perth team where he probably was the least defensively targetted by opposition coaches. If he didn't score 29 in the final game of the finals would anyone be considering him to play for us? I doubt it.

Farley would be a much better option!

King James, its not just his stats its his style of ball, he has a bit of goulding in him in the sense he doesnt care who is against he will put in 110% everytime. he has been relentless all season and as Isaac said he hasnt let up in the HSH either. he has alot ahead of him, and i cant say i know for a fact but at a guess id say groves had alot more court time compared to lisch. i personally can see a awesome player in lisch. where as groves i just see a man trying to redeem his former glory.

I agree with KingJames there are a lot better options out there than Lisch. Why do we need another shooting guard when we already have Ng and Herbie? We should be getting an import PG and scoring SF. Lisch being only 6'2 gives us 2 guys in Ng and Lisch that are undersized 2 guards. Makes no sence, this is part the reason I wanted Ninnis gone and wont be Happy if Clarke comes in making the same mistakes.

I didn't mean THE Magic Johnson, I meant a player similar to him. A versatile PG with good size.

bloody nbl. Getting anything from them almost sounds like try to get through the motor registration office

if they cant release the players name why would it be on tv? and secondly you never see anything NBL related on tv. although with one hd taking over it i think we will see alot more on sports tonight in the upcoming season

In fairness, we dont know where he is. He could be meeting with a potential sponsor, or he could be having his first day's leave in six months or more.
