Going by the pictures it looks like its a good chance that Mottram will be the backup center. I initially thought that this is disappointing however realistically he is an upgrade on Holmes mainly due to his size. His defense would be the same to Holmes (helped due to his size) and I hate to admit this but his offense would be better then Holmes at NBL level. No more turn around fade away shots from 4 feet from the ring with no one on him, instead Mottram would turn around and dunk it.

No Deal!!

I'd be happy with Mottram as a back up big providing we get a import that can play as a big as well. Does anyone who went know if Herbie was at full speed? Hows his knee?

King James does that mean going by the pictures David nurse is our new import ??

Ingles wasn't there when we were there; and Herbie trained strongly.

Thought I saw Jingles at the dome, yesterday...
No.. just joking..

I wanted to suggest to SOS - play pre-season games at the dome, so fans can see them.

Camel - you foot the bill for playing them there, and I'm sure they will think about it!

What are the sums?
About 2,000 @ 12 bucks at the dome
for 1 game, last season.
2 games at gawler ,sold out.. not sure how many
ya get at starplex?
Another game at the dome would be good, for a coupla thousand fans. Wouldn't it..

Why wouldnt the Sixers consider playing trials at Wayville, seeing they like training there ?

Makes sense to me if they get 600/700 hundred into Wayville than get 200 into Starplex and have 400 turn away due to travel costs plus game costs

I think they could even play a game at Southern except no glass back boards...

The starplex bring in a portable stand, think they had 900-1200 there last trial game, same set up as for junior nationals .
