It cost me money to Coach Sate Teams, just like every other coach coaching that tournament
I'm a coaching director. I worked out once that I get aroudn $3-$4 an hr not including expenses.

NBA coaches get about 5 million dollars a year. (Phil Jackson got 10 million a year for the last 3 years)

On an Interesting side note..Is a coach more valuable than a player?
Looking at Phil Jackson's salary and compare that to Kobe Bryant's then the rest of the LA Lakers.
Weve all seen good teams play badly under rubbish coaches and teams that shouldnt achieve anything do very well with excellent coaching.

You missed US College coaches. I read somewhere that Coach K at Kentucky gets around $2M a year and he is not the highest paid.
ABA Coaches get between $4K & $10K depending on other responsabilities around the club i.e clincs, juniors etc

Big V coaches $5k-10K SEABL Coaches 15k-20k. Thats coaching the team only.Some are also fulltime paid employess of the club so they are earning $80-100k a year.

Why dont you tell us what you do for a job Interested, and how much you get paid for it??????
Alot of the SEABL coaches end up with jobs at the clubs due to the commitments assocaited with trainings & travel.
QBL Coaches are paid on about the same level as SEABL.
NBL coaches on 100-150k with first assistants roughly half

Coach K would be on alot moer than that. Most College coaches get endorsements as well, also the schools often pay them television rights etc. Shoe and clothing companies are not allowed to pay the athletes to wear their clothes etc. so they pay the coach who makes them wear the stuff.
The top College coaches on average would have bigger incomes than the top nba coaches on average.

My apologies to Coach K - definitely with the Blue Devils. And he probably does receive more than $2M with endorsements etc. IMO he would never leave the college ranks, other than to coach Team USA of course.
