Cedric Jackson, he is a level above everyone else and exciting to watch.
I also like watching guys like Abercrombie, Ervin, Deleon, CJ Bruton, Creek (when he gets some court time), Gliddon, Lisch, Madgen, Bruce, Henry, Hurdle, Matt Knight, Petrie,

Good call on Emery Atkinson. One of the best ever game dunkers to play in the NBL. Powerful and athletic and dunked on people! The NBL has no dunkers even close to that these days.

Good point about the lack of modern in-game dunkers... is it a lack of athleticism though or just the fact that the defense is a million times better than it was in the 80s/90s?
It seems that lots of the really athletic guys in the NBL at the moment aren't good enough ballhandlers to make plays attacking the basket, as well...

I think it is a bit of both. Games in the 80/90's were more up tempo and had more opportunities to throw it down but even with some great athletes playing here today they do not attack the rim the same way and have no style or flair. Very boring to watch really. While the standard has improved overall the game is nowhere near as much fun to watch. I can remember lots of good dunks all the time back then. I was a Bullets fan and we went from Emery Atkinson to Andre Moore. Dre was throwing them down every week and always had something on them. Guys now get up but just don't slam it hard or do anything too special.

Today, there's more emphasis on athleticism and height than on skills. (We've had lots of arguments about the lack of pure shooters over the last few months.)
Unfortunately, today there's better defence and more contact allowed, which makes it harder to get to the ring with the momentum to use that athleticism in a dunk-fest.

Mika Vukona, Anthony Petrie and Damian Martin. Can you tell Im a footballer?!
I also really like watching Cedric Jackson (obviously), Matt Knight, Ben Madgen, Tom Abercrombie, Alex Pledger and Aaron Bruce. And CJ Bruton in the playoffs.
If Adam Gibson keeps up his clutch shooting in fourth quarters from last weekend he'll move up into that list too. That was impressive.

I find Rhys Martin intriguing. Doubt many will agree, but I think if he applied himself 100% at all times, he'd be one of the league's best guards. At least, offensively. Seems to coast a bit at times and toy with the game.

Yeah there's still a lot of athletic players in the league but they just don't seem to get much chance to throw it down. The only guy who throws down regularly is Lucas Walker. Others like Benny Lewis and Mitch Creek are capable of throwing down 2 but those guys don't get a lot of court time.
