LeBron set to receive his 4th MVP Award

LeBron is set to be awarded his 4th MVP award, joining Chamberlain, Russell, Abdul-Jabbar and Jordan who all won 4 themselves.

Where does that leave LeBron in comparison to these greats, and how much further can he go?

Easy choice. I doubt it will be his last.

In comparison to those greats, championships is the only measure. Time will tell...

Upon investigation

5 - Michael Jordan
5 - Bill Russell
4 - Wilt Chamberlain
4 - Lebron James

Kareem's six is under serious threat. LBJ is getting better and better every year, and still has plenty more seasons left.

It's also a joke that MJ only won five. He should have easily had seven or eight.

LeBron got every first vote except one which went to Melo, possibly as an attention-seeking exercise by a journalist.

That would be one hell of a starting lineup!

No Point Guard, but who cares just give the ball to MJ or LBJ and watch the fireworks, then when one of them score, or maybe Kareem launches a sky-hook, or Wilt slams one home they can sit back and watch Bill block the crap out of it at the other end and start all over again...

Okay, I am dreaming a bit now, but what a wonderful dream it is...... :)
