Big V Round 3: Corio stings Boomers in overtime epic as big guns roll on

Bulleen are still the favorites. They had a bad run with the refs in the dying minutes as well as missing Lester Strong.
Corio looked shaky all second half. Ma'alo looked lazy and dumb in D. The positives for Corio are their two imports.

Waverley are the team this year. How are they not the favourites. Bulleen are ok but far off favourites (especially with Lester).

as at now:

WAV
RINGWOOD
CORIO
BULLEEN

what would everyone say is the stronger between div1 and vyc both women and men. Also watching the Bigv TV, with the weekly run downs of games, why is it that they crow about how good a player is when they score heaps of points and yet some of those players shoot at a really poor percentage and jack up so many dam shots that no one else on the team gets a looks in, you cant judge a player purely on numbers, many of those individual players who just shoot shoot shoot and hit like 1 out of every 6, put them in a decent roster and they would struggle to even hit the floor. Surely they should look at more than just scoring to class someone as outstanding!!

Doesnt matter how many points you score if your shooting at 20% from the field and taking 30 plus shots for the game.

Marlo looks like he is in a good paddock at Corio. Stacked it on since Nuna days.

agreed happy days, yet those jokers on the bigv tv sing the praises of them every dam week, one even went as far as saying that one particular player was the best in the league....needs to look at the overall stats before making such remarks because if thats the BEST in the league its in deep trouble LOL

Ma'alo Hicks is over rated and easily shut down. Headlam will be their starting centre by mid-year.

I admit that after a while, listening to Yapper and his crew on Big V.TV you do get a sense of boredom, especially when they seem unsure of what they are saying or just getting off topic.

It isn't easy to do what they do however, so lets encourage them to prepare a little better and maybe analyse the statistics of key players in each game before they start to talk about those games.

Generally they are doing a great job, but improvment can always come, with more experience and some constructive feedback perhaps...
