FIBA rule changes

Has anyone heard anything about if/when we (Australia) will be adopting the FIBA rule changes that supposedly come into effect after the World Cup on October 1st? Will they be used in the upcoming NBL season?

Not sure but you would assume they will. I just hope the 14 second shot clock rule after an offensive rebound is kept out of juniors. We want kids to learn how to play, not just heaving up shots because the shot clock is running down.

Like all the rule changes except the 14 second reset rule, does not punish players for not boxing out enough more so punishes the offensive player. Technical foul down to one free throw is something which has been something too long in the waters.
