United import McRae likely to miss Crocs game

The NBA draftee has flown home to meet his new baby, Jordan Jr, who was born in the United States on Monday arriving almost two weeks early.

It's understood McRae was expected to miss games later this month so he could be back in the US for the birth, instead he will now only be in doubt for this Sunday's game and, at the latest, is expected back in Melbourne by the middle of next week.

‎Melbourne United coach Darryl McDonald hasn't given up hope McRae may be able to fly back in time for Sunday's game but he has set up a plan should McRae miss the match.
