Which second tier players should be looked at

Teams are always looking to find good/solid role players that come with low points (system) for the NBL.

Which players are worth a look for back up roles in the NBL? Both imports and aussies.

Chris Cedar is having an outstanding season for Mackay in the QBL. Basketballexpressions.net has him as the best Aussie player in the league and close to the MVP.

Mackay also have Matty Adekponya, Townsville have Corban Wroe, Cairns have Damon Heuir, Toowoomba have Jeremy Kendle & Erron Maxey - 2 great imports & Rockhampton have reigning MVP & former D-League player Chehales Tapscott & former Villanova star, Dominic Cheek. Nick Kay & Mitch McCarron both play for Northside too and they'll probably be in the NBL this year.

The NZ league also has some interesting talent - McKenzie Moore is very talented as an import, Aaron Fuller is very much in the same mould, Jeremiah Trueman is putting up solid numbers, Richie Edwards doesn't start but is going well... Plenty of talent in the NBL of NZ.

Carlin took his team to the NAIA national championship game this year. Worth a look.

anon I nearly posted about chris Cedar the other day, putting up similar numbers to Rhys Martin av 20 ppg, is still relatively young and would still be an option for a back up pg spot somewhere.
