Grant Wallace has been named the new SEABL men's coach at Frankston. He has a great history in basketball, only hope it is not soured by the management down there. They aren't doing a lot right at the moment!
Very Good appointment for the men. On the other hand - why would they appoint Brookens as the Womens Coach? He couldn't win a game in Albury with 3 imports.
They have not announced the women's coach yet???
Probably wants to move back to Melbourne after being up in Albury where it would be hard to recruit people.
So will that make albury now 11 coaches in 11 years after he is replaced.
Wallace will do well if management doesn't interfere in the recruiting process and give him some budget to work with including 2 imports.Can't get any worse than 3 wins for the season.
No secret re Brookens - a lot of people talking / laughing about it at the SEABL GF.
Albury supporters couldn't believe he was getting another gig.
Gee I hope Wallace does a better job of being more organised at Frankston than what he does at BV cause that's a complete farce.
Conflict? Anyone? BV role meant to be impartial?
Was told this morning a former WNBL Coach interested in women's job. However is still waiting for a return call from the HPM.
Who are the coaches that were sacked since Runchy ?
