I think I'd take Shved at 3.4 over Joel Freeland at 2.7.... Looks like salaries overall have taken a hit, which matches up with what others (Barlow, and a couple of US import's blogs I've read, mainly) have been saying.

remember these are probably nett salaries not gross, meaning after tax. that's what they do in EU.

so almost double each salary for the true figure

...then factor in that more often than not players don't actually see the money they are contracted to receive. It probably just about evens out.
