Westbrook versus New York: 27 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists. Plus the road win. He had the triple double just after half-time, in 20 minutes, making it one of the fastest in NBA history.
The fastest was 17 minutes by Jim Tucker in 1955. Wilt Chamberlain once had 22 points, 25 rebounds, and 21 assists - the only double-triple-double recorded in the NBA.
More trivia. In one game in 2007, Vince Carter had 46 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, while teammate Jason Kidd had 10 points, 16 rebounds and 18 assists. Whoa.
