Playoff Seedings

The race is on for playoff seedings.
One could argue Illawarra are a chance but they look too far back IMO.

Head to head splits are no longer relevant it will come down to percentage.
As it stands the ladder is tight and although Melbourne are the form team right now and of the top 4 could win title.

This weekend is critical for Illawarra. If they could beat Adelaide twice (which will be very hard), then game on for a push for 4th. If not, I think it will be very hard for them.

Early guess but I have Melb on 20 wins, Perth 19, NZ and Adelaide both 17.
Not sure who has better % of those two though.

I reckon it's a 3 way tie at the top. Melbourne, Perth, NZB all with 19-9 and Adelaide 17-11.

No head to head this year, so it will get down to %. Perth have the best % ATM and this will probably stay around the mark. Melbourne is the next best of the 3, but have two games against Brisbane which they need to hammer to sneak up a could of %. NZB have the lowest % and for them to get that up, they need to hold teams to 85 and score 100+/game.

Realistically, based on previous games I would predict:

Perth 19-9 106.1%
Melbourne 19-9 104.2%
NZB 19-9 102.7%
Adelaide 17-11 102.3%

Illawarra 14-14

SF Series 1: Perth v Adelaide
SF Series 2: Melbourne v NZ Breakers

Breakers v Adelaide GF?

Adelaide would love Perth in the semis. Melbourne would be tough.

Right now top 4 is
1. Melbourne 14-7
2. Adelaide 15-8
3. NZ 13-8
4. Perth 13-9

What a difference a weekend makes.
Perth look like kissing top 2 spot goodbye.

I'm predicting
Melb on 20 wins
Adelaide on 18 or 19
NZ on 17
Perth on 17.

Perth would get 3rd on %.
Melb v NZ Semi
Adelaide v Perth Semi ( the match up everyone on this forum wants).

Melbourne v Adelaide grand final.
