Ingles breaks Jazz season three-point record

In their last game, Joe Ingles broke the Utah Jazz record for three pointers made in a season. Previous record owner was Randy Foy with 178. Ingles is at 179 with games still to play. And all at 45.1 3P%, a league best.

The bucket came with the scores at 88-89 in the fourth against the Kings. Jazz won 103-97 at home; Ingles had 14 points, 7 rebounds and game high 9 assists. He's averaging 17/5/5 over his last 5 games.

Love the commentary for the moment: "JOE. THREE. HISTORY. YEAH!"

If he keeps shooting this way and with his outstanding overall level of play the contract he signed is now looking like a bargin for the Jazz

As mentioned at the beginning, his three point percentage leads the league (assuming minimum shot numbers). Klay at #3, Korver #5, Durant #7, Dirk #10. Curry down in equal 13th.

I am so proud every time he takes the court. Been following his career ever since he played with Cortez Grooves a long time ago at the South Dragons.

The most amazing part of this is that only 18 months ago teams sat defenders in the key and dared him to shoot the 3. He would often pass up WIDE open 3's. Now he is #1 in the league. Love it.

Ingles has been in beast mode for the whole of 2018, in fact the whole Utah team has been in been in beast mode this year. Most teams in the West would be very keen to avoid a matchup against them in the 1st round!

Interestingly, Stockton's best season in terms of 3PM was 94-95 where he managed "only" 102/227. Joe has left that in the dust with 10+ games to play.

Might not get his assists records though...

You need a Karl Malone to get an assists record though.
