A situation that may be a increasing dilema for some now and more in the future AIS/Gems or College, particulary with the increasing cost of Uni and competition for places here.

To "get a trade" or in this case "get an educatiuon" is never more important for the future.

what is NCAA rule in relation to taking a couple of years off - and working - doing basketball - then going to college.

The NCAA seems to have some rules about going to college at the first available opportunity.

Providing you do not infringe elegibility rules you can just about do what you want, there is however an age cutoff of 21 where if you participate in that sport for any part of the year after you turn 21 you lose a year of elegibility (allowed 5 yrs to finish your field of study)
