Woodville v Sturt.

Woodville again came out firing as they did against Eastern last week. The led for majority of the game and won the rebound count by almost 10 at end of game.

David Shepperd (apologies for spelling)kept Sturt in it in the 3rd with a 15 pt quarter, ending the game with around 28pts to lead all scorers. Most of those pts were from strong attacking drives against 2 or 3 every time.

Woodvilles intensity on D and 2nd and 3rd efforts in O won them the game by about 10. I can't remember the final score.

Woodville's standout on the night was Big Will who finished the game with 23pts and had at least double digit rebounds with a number of assists and a couple of blocks. Had Woodville finished in the open court, sturt may have been completely out of the game by end of the 3rd.

I'm sure KB will be happy with the win as it was a great team effort by his troops and one they can definitely build on.

Panthers beat North by 2 points. Was a close affair the whole game until South went on a bit of a run in the third to push the lead out to 12. But as always the young boys at North pushed up defensively and re took the lead to be up by about 3 during the last quarter.
But with a few big threes by Scanlan and some tight defence down the stretch the Panthers held on to a 2 point lead as the buzzer sounded.

Forestville won by 40, but the lions girls picked up in the second half, to lose the half by 2 points, a bad start to the game let them down, but positive signs are coming from the womens team.

Things are obviously looking good at centrals then, theres some good signs showing if they only lose a half by 2 points, especially if they only lose the 'other' half by 38 points.

sir?lick-ashot!
you obviously get your kicks out of putting teams down.
what about forestville's second half, did they play really really bad to only outscore central by 2 points? ah! that's right the game was already won wasn't it, and they didn't try for the rest of the match.
good on you central women, it's nice to know you kept on trying and didn't give in, even though you were beaten by half time.
I'd really like to know how you can lick a shot sir??????????
