In regards to people crapping on her while mental health statement, it’s not far fetched as we’ve heard from nba players how hard the bubble was, so to go through essentially another one, with less support likely than the nba had for its own one, covid cases at an high in tokyo, it’s completely fine for anyone to have hesitancy in going. Having to trust a lot of people who you don’t know in this situation would be very stressful to anyone and it’s really cross your fingers and hope for the best, so in that sense you can’t blame her or anyone else for worrying about how Tokyo may go.

There's been very little fallout to Maker making himself not available. Even ignoring the reports from camp, the timing of pulling out 2 weeks from the start of the Tournament after being selected is very different to Maker.
