I wonder why they would play Jackson so much considering the score line ? Would her feet still be bothering her? That is unless she got those points in 20 mins of play - anyone ?

Good win girls . How did Phillips go ?

Skyhook,

She did get those points in 20 minutes. Not bad.

LJ was awesome in her time.

Stirling rotated all players through in a pretty evenly based time frame.

India hit some absolutely impossible three pointers, including a half court shot, and a car park prayer to close out the game and bring the margin back to 100.

Erin had a fairly good game apart from her shots not dropping, her typical rebounding, passing and assists all there.

Laura was serviceable, but probably quiet compared to a typical LIghtning game.

Jae Cross the only Opal not to score, but she did look like she was still trying to find her feet, which isn't that hard to beleive considering it was the first game the team has played together.

It is an abosutely awesome feeling over here, and everyone is having a ball. I've even managed to have breakfast with a few of the refs this morning, and had a great chat to them, and expanded my understanding of basketball even further.

Phillips had 11, 7 and 4 in 16 minutes which is pretty impressive!
