New Lightning season pass option
There's a new ticket in town that might be of interest to a few people here.
Previously, you could get a Lightning season pass for $80/adult and a 36ers members ticket from $280. But if you were a Lightning fan who wanted to see the double-headers with the 36ers without either paying full walk-up price or committing to an entire 36ers members ticket, you had no choice.
Now, admittedly this cross-section could be a small one, but there's something new for them regardless.
For $110, you can get a Lightning season pass and entry to the three 36ers games being played as double headers. That's $10/seat for those three 36ers games - big saving on the walk-up prices.
Vince Marino, the new Lightning owner, is subsidising this himself in a deal with Mal Hemmerling (the new owner of the 36ers).
For Lightning fans, it's a smart upgrade on the original $80 season pass. For 36ers fans without a members ticket, it could even be a cheap way to support the Lightning too - three 36ers games (what are walk-ups? Normally $25 each? That's $75 so far), then the ten Lightning games, hat, lanyard, etc - $35 extra for that?
