New Rockets ABL coaches

Mike McKay and Justin Schuller are the new ABL coaches at North Adelaide.

After a long drawn out wait and against reports on here previous, the decision was made this week.

Think both are great decisions and think it will be a new and exciting period at the Rockets in the next couple of years.

Good luck to them both, let's hope they bring Rockets success. I know im looking forward to catching both games now not just the women's.

I don't know for certain but you would imagine that mike has the girls and Justin the mens as they were both the respective assistant coaches last year.
I think Mike is an excellent appointment for the girls, it'll be interesting to see how justin balances bear basketball and his ABA coaching commitments, and who will do the 20 mens at north now.

#97332 sounds like you are just jelous of what he has achieved, maybe if you did something in basketball and put a name to your bull shit statement then we could say how big a wanker you are. Bear will do a great job with the men and i also think Mike is a great apointment for the women. donthink the Bear Basketball thing will be a problem it would be no different to anyone else with a job, probably better situation than normal. good luck to both and piss off to all the haters.

Scott was appointed and the position was then retracted.

Is the way North management do business? Pretty average in my eyes.
Will the players be happy with Justin? He's a good lad, I hope he can bring the best out of North's strong Junior base.

Scott put his heart and soul into North, he had a top 4 team for approx 5 years, won a couple of Summers, there's definitely some big shoes to fill.
Those North kids had better step up.

I would like North to comment on this issue.

Think you will find a final decision had to be voted by the entire committee, this is where the decision came from. I belive it was a unanimous decision.

Rumour has it that a certain Tall Norwood U18 Boy will be heading to North to play for the ABA coach.

Somebody has been up to their old tricks again.

The sooner North's president stop this sort recruiting the better.

Any clues? Are you talking about a current U18 boy or one of the team that has now gone up to 20s?

Over the weekend, the Norh ABA coach (who is also the u18 Coach for this year) was often seen having talks to a current U18 for this coming season. Talk from some of the players was interesting!

Rockets team has been selected and it is only made up of Rockets boys. I have mates at Norwood, one of which is the guy people are pretending to know about on here and he isnt moving and hasn't been approached. We may be small this year but we are looking forward to playing the bigger sides.
