36ers management - try this for some PR !

A bidder named "lavaine" has bought a chance to beat Storm star Lauren Jackson in a game of H-O-R-S-E ... for $3,105.

Bidding on the WNBA's Web site started at $150, heating up as the weeklong auction to benefit The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation concluded.

The game of H-O-R-S-E with Jackson -- to take place at a "mutually agreeable date before the end of the 2005 WNBA season" -- garnered 59 bids, including 13 yesterday that raised the price of the experience from $2,300 to "lavaine's" winning bid at 5:07 p.m. last night.

Thats not PR, it is purely money making, got nothing to do with public relations...

it would create publicity but not in a positive light...
