willie farley blanket appeal

If boti had used the article to launch the willie Farley blanket appeal at least it would have been a positive.
It really is an internal matter and fairly basic not worth a whole article Boti maybe just a cheap snide remark. Lets offer willie a new bedroom suite for a triple double or now that he's got the quilt i hope Willie gives the breakers the sheetz. Maybe the sixers could do a promo with the SA quilters association..cross code promotions nah seriously if you want to promote the sixers and the game you need a happy club that sponsors want to be associated with. A good team that performs = happy players. And while numbers are down you need to be giving out free tickets to juniors maybe a different age group each week and free tickets on radio giveaways while you have the free seats it is the perfect time to do it..espcially supporting the juniors.
BTW what about having the stamford grand young guys play 3/4s before the game and the last 1/4 at half time so folks can see them????
Go sixers.

According to The Advertiser's site, the article was written by Miles Kemp. Boti's article was about the Academy game.

I think that this had made of all people, Willie look really bad....all of this over a quilt!

As fara s the free tickets, there is more about that in the Crowds thread currently running....but basically the free tickets are not neccesarily working as well as people would think they would be.

The whole situation smells bad. Why was the article written, who motivated it, why did the Advertiser publish it when they've refused to publish many other positive basketball articles ..... something ain't right.

To my knowledge the advertiser has never refused to publish an atricle related to the sixers.
