I saw this and thought I'd missed the part where the athletes walk in
Doesn't seem like that's happened?

He's deserving of the honour. It's just a shame that the whole opening ceremony has been so woefully underwhelming. Chris Anstey was dead on when he said that he thought he was watching the Rock Eisteddfod. But I am just glad to see Patty get the recognition from the Australian public that he deserves.

Don't want to be a negative Nelly, but surely when you type "one word" and then have to use the space bar to then type 2 words, it should come to you it's two words.

Anonymous(e), did you really start your comment with, "Don't want to be a negative Nelly,"?
And then went on with, "but surely when you type "one word" and then have to use the space bar to then type 2 words, it should come to you it's two words."
On a thread of absolute respect for a baller we all look up to bla, bla, bla, and you choose to crit the author of the one word, ie, ONE WORD that describes the recipient, Patty Mills (Oh look, he has a first name AND a family name).
What would you have written if you hadn't started with your disclaimer, Nelly?

I got two words for you RobT, second one rhymes with trucked.

Oh, I get it! You want me to get fucked. Then I'd be just like you!
Let's stop this back and forth. Believe me, you're no match.
To keep the peace, I take back what I said.

"surely when you type "one word" and then have to use the space bar to then type 2 words, it should come to you it's two words."
The one word was obviously "respect". When there is "...", it is an ellipsis, which means omission, indicating missing words. So "One word ... Patty Mills" might, for example, mean "one word [to describe] Patty Mills" or "one word [for] Patty Mills". The one word is after the completion of the sentence. Respect.

The clue was that the body of the post was one word, and in caps to make it obvious.
