Hey Weedy. Just wanted to thank you for all the updates and research. Love the game and been involved at all levels for 50 years(!). Just don't seem to have time to look up all the info you have access to so really appreciate your posts and comments - keeps me up to date with what is going on in our great game and easily accessed!

I want to also thank Weedy Slug. About 18 months ago, someone was posting with a username of "Anonymous", which I didn't want to encourage after the dropping of anonymous posting.
I think I was working remotely that week and didn't have time or reliable enough internet to go through it and help them pick a name.
At some point in recent years, I'd developed a script to invent randomised, disparaging names for anonymous users who couldn't think up their own username. Things like Insipid Weasel, Rusted Tapir, etc. But I never launched it.
So in the minute of internet I had that moment, I quickly set the Anonymous user's name to one of the random animals (Weedy Slug) and forgot about it. And it's appeared to be a rare forum positive in that no one complained (incredible) and Weedy Slug settled into their name, proving to be a very decent contributor.

I remember early on terming Weedy as "The List Guy" to myself while he was an anon.
There was a thread recently where someone else with a nickname of a similar format was conversing with him back and forth which made me laugh. Now it makes sense.
