SEM return home after a poor game in Brisbane.

I think SEM will struggle even at home here, no Gak or Cummins, taipans length and speed will be to good. Kelly has improved SEM defensively but offensively they are just to iso. I'm not convinced that Creek like Sobey make good decisions when the game is on the line.

I’m expecting a very good game though, taipans by three.

SEM should be leading by far more, Creek missing bunnies, some poor ref calls against them. Cairns just no how to hang in, Gleeson former man Forde knows how to get decisions. Waardenburg hurting SEM from outside. Still anyone's game.

Interesting way Kelly mentioned the officiating pre game and commentary has also tried to justify officials all part of dictating the ladder positioning at end of season

Kelly as coach and Kenyon and moller have added starch to this Phoenix team, I still don't see SEM competing with the big guys unless they get rid of the iso offence.

I always feel NBL referees are really below par. They referee players on reputation. I.E somebody like Creek gets to play really physical compared to a new import or lesser known player. I'd any Breakers player played that physical defence and contact They would have 5 fouls in no time.
I also hate how the refs talk to coaches at breaks. Coaches shouldn't be able to approach them the way they do.

Exactly, tell coaches to shut the f..k up, the refs make enough horrible decisions without being yelled at. You are also right on the inconsistency, it's total rubbish.
