The Finnbar Maley phenomenon

Former NBL import Paul Maley's son Finnbar made his debut for North Melbourne in the AFL tonight. He's 6 ft 6 and a bit of a unit. Also happened a few years ago with NBL import Andre Moore's son Archie playing for a few seasons for the Brisbane Lions.

It's good to see, obviously assuming these young guys don't have the potential to play for the Boomers based on basketball potential.

Any other similar examples?

Also interesting to know how much better the Boomers (and if you care the Socceroos) would be if the sport of AFL didn't exist.

Ever since Brogan AFL teams have been after talk athletic players that they're willing to take a chance on, even recruited Americans that had never played a game.
Just recently had the post about Tom Wilson returning to basketball after his AFL career fizzled.
