Lebron James' new house
Based on what I can find on the interweb, I'm amazed Lebron even has time to play basketball any more.
Here's what's been going on in his world this week:
- Details of his new house have emerged.
- He signs on as the minority owner of a bicycle company.
- Squillionaire Warren Buffett - estimated net worth: US$52-54 billion - comes to watch a Cavs home game as Lebron's guest. Mr Buffett, who is 76 years old, was clad in a a black "Witness" shirt. [Emphasis added]
Just going back to the new house, for those not about to click through, here's some of the stuff that's going to be in it:
According to the blueprints, LeBron's new home will encompass 35,440 square feet [that's a tick over 10,800 square metres for you metricheads].
It will include a recording studio, a two-lane bowling alley, a casino, a 26- by 63-foot theater, a sports bar, an aquarium and a barbershop.
A first-floor master suite, which includes a two-storey walk-in closet, is about 40 feet wide and 56 feet long.
Outside, the west wall will feature a limestone sculpture -- a bas-relief of LeBron's head, wearing his trademark headband.
