Norwood Easter Classic

Any idea of when groupings or draws will be out for the Classic? Anyone give some information on also what teams are coming over. I do hear that 16/18 boys and girls have heaps.

Yes just goes to show that you haters that say the Norwood Classic will be down on numbers each year are always wrong.

With the womens side of basketball in this state (16,18,20 junior state and lightening coach) stitched up this yrs classic will be the launchpad for norwoods domination.

You dickhead. Turn a question into a chest beating topic. Well since you have, how many Div 1 Summer Divisions did you win? Just because you have the State coaches and Lightening coaches means shit. i believe your programs have actually gone backwards since you have had these people in place. Launch pad for domination, what a joke!

Do games begin on Thurs night, or Friday?
How does running a BSA subsidised carnival win premierships for a club?
Easter Bunny summed it up pretty well!

my money is on norwood and forestville to assume the junior G mantle over the next few years.

that coaching line up / influence will lead to success

Keilor vs Norwood mmm not that great at the Elth / Dandy Tournament.

Maybe Tigers vs Norwood is a better match up.( if they play each other )

Both coaches passionate and physical teams,

Tigers to win

Norwood's so called coaching strength has followed single 'good' teams up thru the age groups which is a less than convincing scenario for future success. Their high profile coaches might get a little lost when not coaching the cream.
Sturt by contrast mix and match ages and coaches which strengthens both the teams and coaches.
Forestville have had a wonderful summer but lets wait a while before handing them the laurels.
Always wondered if these 'top' coaches ever went to less successful clubs would they make any difference?
Would see Southern improving in the girls before Norwood as there's not that much strength in red and blue at the moment nor on the horizon whereas Southern have such a large catchment area for the future. North seem lost and God only knows about the rest.

Norwood girls are dropping at an incredibly fast rate, particuarily in the U/18's this has a lot to do with the coaching as girls who are not a state player or with SASI are not of any interest to the Div 1 coach, therefore they are not developed and left to fend for themselves and many feel as if they are not valued players and rather spend their time playing another sport or going out with their friends or working in a part time job!!
