NBL @ Sports Bars/Pubs Etc

We basically already know that FoxSports are only going to show one-game a week this season. The television coverage sucks and we haven't heard much.

To help spread the love of our game and bring fans together. Do you think we can get some pubs and sports bars showing the games?

It would be cool to have mid-week pub nights to watch the games and meet fans.

What places can we reccomend?

Hampstead Hotel?

Highlander Hotel?

Both have sports bar.

Can we tempt the Casino Sports Bar?

Any other suggestions?

Rosemont was another i was thinking of except it's in town and sometimes down a troubled street.

The ones I suggested are out in the suburbs.

Trying to suggest a few suburban locations and reasonably central for people especially if someone makes a club and habit of it.

But definitely be awesome to have a pub playing basketball on the plasmas on a regular basis

How about the Argentinian Bar & Grill on Port Road out front of the entertainment centre?

That is a good choice of locations and evenly spread around the place.

It could work for some of those.

Maybe they were always going to show 2 games per week but they've only agreed to show 1 game per week LIVE?

The Torrens Arms always used to be a gathering spot for NBL games- not sure if they still show it?

Otherwise my vote is for the Highway Inn- If we contact them and they realise the interest it could generate, perhaps they would be willing to do drink/meal specials and show it on that massive TV?

Not like Wed nights would be particularly busy there anyway...

Kent, that second game could be the NZ game?

2nd game would be the Thursday NZ game you would think unless they throw in the Saturday game which the 36ers were on occassions last season.

Elizabeth Tavern would be a top spot for people living out Salisbury and beyond.

I definitely won't be going there, I live nowhere near there and don't really have contacts to catch up with down there either.

The_Champ33,

Sturty6ers was not serious.

Regards,
SS

PS My bet is it has been a long time since Sturty6ers graced the Lizbeff Tavern with his presence.
