Forestville Premiership Reunions 74/90

Anyone interested in seeing some stars of SA Basketball , come along to Wayville tomorrow night , as Forestville brings together Dean Kinsman , Daryl Pearce,Albert Leslie , Mark Lampshire, Arthur Newley,Ian Laurie to name a few of past Premiership Champions of our club .
Over 24 past champions will be in attendance at Wayville Sports Centre
Entry is only $5 , and full bar and canteen facilities available plus Yiros meals available from 6.30pm.
Players will be paraded before the Men's game at 8pm and we will be showing the 1990 Grand Final on the Big Screen after the completion of the CABL games

This was actually really cool. it's great that the club got the guys at least out to this, and gave them some recognition, was also good to see the program details from 74 and 90 reprinted in the program.

Must have been embarrassing for the organisers with both teams then having to watch woodville give their men a spanking. what was that ? 2nd last beating second, even the refs thought it was just a "turn up and mark down the W " type night, and did not really wake up that there was actually a game to be officiated.

The feedback from the players from 74 and 90 was extremely positive.All had their photo taken , legends of the game like Albert Leslie , Mark Lampshire and Daryl Pearce had a great night.Real shame that Hall of Fame coach Ian Laurie called in sick and a couple couldn't make it due to living interstate or overseas

Pity about the result you are right,but great atmosphere , over 350 people in attendance and I would imagine the odd headache or two in the morning from the "frothies" and stories that have been told well into the early hours.
