Shouldn't worry skip to much in Hoops Fantasy, especially with the increased chances of Bogut suiting up...

Just need the NBA owners and players to sort their crap out now :)

Good luck Luke, hope it all goes well in your recovery! Crocs seriously cant get anything right this season, perhaps will be fighting it out for bottom 2...and considering they were a home win away from a GF placing!

Not looking good for the Crocs this season. Right now their big man stocks are: Allen, Holmes and Blanchfield! Anyone heard what the Crocs plan to do? They might have to consider cutting Mims if they want to bring in an import big man. Otherwise, they're going to have to find some good Aussie help and there isn't much left at this point!

Jacob's hopes of playing minutes just rose ten fold. Could be a gun fantasy pick early season...?

Who thinks Blanchfield is a big??? He's a guard!

anyway... we've only got Jacob Holmes, Chris Cedar and Ben Allen as healthy players atm!

Eddie Gill has a sore knee, Elvin Mims has a slightly torn ab muscle, Hinder, broken leg, Mitch Norton broken foot, Schenscher hip, Blanchfield hyper-extended his knee against Melb, Mick Cedar has a bruised hip & PC has something wrong with him too!

We're getting all the shit news out of the road early!

Crocs wont recover from this. They should cut the import with that bad knee and show there fans they are still legit about making some sort of effort this season. Adversity hits sports teams all the time, its how you react.

Vandy and his tiny hands of stone will have to do in the meantime.

Still not sure why everyone is rating crocs in bottom two...

The most athletic team in the L, IMO...

Rod, I didn't realise Blanchfield was a guard. He's a nice tall one at 200cm! I have never seen him play, but had thought he was another slightly undersized big man. Maybe a bit like Graeme Dann?

Again, Graeme Dann is not a big man. He's a 3.

Didn't put that as clearly as I should have. I meant that he is similar in size and was asking if he might play a little like Dann - not that Dann is a big man in the traditional sense of the word.

Beantown re: Blanchfield, think Newley, Ingles mould. Athletic, loves to run, Dunk and shoots the 3 well, still only very young 19 I think. He could be a star and future Boomer if he works hard.

Dann is a 4. Anyone who watched the NBL last season would know that.

Long-term this may not be a bad thing for the Crocs. Allen getting those extra minutes should give that pretty boy a sorely-needed lesson in how to HTFU.

great news for vandy - gets to play again in the big league, hopefully plays well enough to secure a future spot somewhere - Allen is going to have to step up, nothing like game time to get things going in the right direction for him.

At this point I'd take Vandy over Allen as the starter

Vandy actually has a lot to offer if a coach can use him properly

Agreed. Vandy doesn't have the greatest hands but you can never fault his effort. I think someone hungry for a roster spot like him is just what the Crocs need to light a fire under their complacent posteriors. Hope he goes hard.

Heard on the news last night that Vandy is struggling to pass the fitness/medical and may not suit up after all...
